Where to stay in Tbilisi, Georgia

11:03 AM
Tbilisi is one of my favorite cities that I definitely would love to return. If you have never heard of the country Georgia, it's time to explore other beautiful places besides tourist-favorites France and Italy. If you love a hipster atmosphere, Tbilisi is a great place to find your soulmates. If you love cheese and wine, Georgia is famous for its delicious variety of fresh cheese and incredible wine choices. Before you start exploring this magical country, everyone must stay in the capital, Tbilisi. I wrote several blog posts that were dedicated to Tbilisi (Read about: What to do in Tbilisi (part I and part II)Where to Eat in Tbilisi (link here); The Most Instagrammable Cafe in Tbilisi (link here)).

Since I got to live in Tbilisi, I really don't need to look for hotels, hostels or Airbnbs. But hearing from all of our friends who got to stay in Tbilisi, I really wanted to enjoy the rented flats and hotel rooms, so we made a decision to stay somewhere before we left this amazing city.  We found an Airbnb loft apartment and absolutely loved it. This post wasn't sponsored, but I thought that I should share my experience, since we were so impressed with our stay.

I found this loft quite fast, because we were looking to stay somewhere in the old town or in the center. After looking at the pictures of furniture, we instantly liked the interior. I contacted the owner and they replied to me very quickly. They had good reviews. As soon as we arrived, it was easy to enter the house, and communicate with the owner. Upon entering, we were blown away by the modern interior. The prices in the city center are actually not so bad. We paid only $55 per night for  a fully furnished apartment that was perfect for 2 families or a family with 1-2 children. I have stayed with many Airbnb properties, but I think this one was my favorite. To book this Airbnb loft, go and register at the Airbnb website in case you are not registered yet. Shopbop SALE for the Perfect Winter Season

6:00 AM
Hey, guys! Fall has finally passed and it's time to change our wardrobe in favor of something warmer. Since we spent two chilly weekends in Central Europe, I truly realized that I need to invest my money in warmer clothes. Fashion always changes, but there are a few things that will stay stylish, trendy and worth your money. If you are looking to upgrade your closet with items that will keep you toasty, Shopbop is having a promotional sale: 15% off orders of $200+; 20% off orders of $500+; 25% off orders of $800+. Go ahead and click this link to get a promo code >>> link.

Let's take a look at what I'm considering for my winter wish list:

Marni 3 Hoop Earrings - I was looking quite long for the kind of designer pieces I would like to get myself, and I think that nothing is better than Marni designs. I always admired their earrings, because the care and creativity put into their pieces make them seem like miniature art displays.

Designer Bag:

3.1 Phillip Lim Body Bag - this designer bag is a must-have. It is not only a statement piece, but it's also a very durable bag in your wardrobe. I love the Cognac color and new design.

Winter Shoes:

Sorel Short Booties - You know I'm a big fan of sneakers! I'm actually about to order this pair of short booties. They look extremely comfortable and stylish. I read so many reviews about this particular brand, and am quite excited to get a pair for this winter season.

Winter Jacket:

Soia & Kyo Down Coat - As soon as it got chilly in Germany, I kept looking to buy something warm for this winter season. I've never owned a down coat, but my friends mentioned that it is a good way to invest your money, since they stay trendy.

Winter Hat:

Luxe Trapper Hat - Last year, when we travelled to Moscow, I was thinking that I need to have this type of hat in my wardrobe to keep my ears warm. What do you think?

Nanushka Sweater Dress - I can't imagine my winter holiday season without a nice sweater dress. This is extremely comfortable and keeps you warm.

Cashmere Turtleneck - I like having options besides scarves, which is why during winter I often favor turtlenecks. What alternatives do you enjoy?

What to wear for Holiday Dinner

10:48 AM
The Thanksgiving Holiday is almost here. This year, we are again celebrating it abroad since we are too far from home. At least we will be among friends. For those of you lucky enough to be with your families during the Thanksgiving season, you may be wondering what to wear for dinner. So, I am going to help you out. If you are having dinner with close family members, I would definitely advise you to wear something comfy and cozy like chunky cardigan, satin top and comfy jeans:

If you are having Thanksgiving dinner with your partner's family, you definitely want to look more classy and stylish. I would choose a nice dress or classic pencil skirt:

If you are having dinner with your besties or a couple of other fashion bloggers, I would definitely go more trendy or dress in layered outfits:

Top | Nanushka Skirt | Moda Operandi

As for my outfit, I decided to layer a blazer with a chunky cardigan that actually turned out pretty well for the fall season. Instead of jeans, I decided to go with a plaid midi pencil skirt. I still feel bad that I spent over 40 euro to buy this Zara skirt, but it has been my favorite skirt recently, as I constantly find myself wearing it.

Knitwear that you can't miss

6:42 AM
Warm sunny days are gone, which begs the question, what to buy now? Of course, it's time to think of knitwear. I try to find a good alternative to layers, because I often feel like I look bigger than I am. That being said, I love knit clothes and the fall/ winter season is the best time to find cute sweaters and cardigans.

Like many other fashionistas, I always shop for cardigans and turtlenecks, because they keep you warm and are easy to style, especially if you do go with a layered look. A few months ago, I ended up shopping in our neighboring town to refresh my wardrobe. I spotted a beautiful cardigan from Esprit. I tried it on and it looked really cozy, but I wasn't happy with the price. This weekend, I checked a few local stores and found this beautiful cardigan that I got on sale. As for affordable turtlenecks, I usually buy from mass market stores like Zara or Mango, but for better quality, I would advise you to check Shopbop or Nordstrom.
