Happy Monday, guys! Our Thanksgiving and Black Friday finished pretty well. We ate a lot of delicious food and bought a lot of Christmas gifts. It was my first experience with Black Friday online shopping. I hope you seized the best deals too! Now I can't wait for my packages! We had lovely weather this weekend, so I decided to show you how to style neutral colors for the winter season. I love wearing neutral shades in spring or summer, but living in a warmer climate lets me to enjoy them even in winter. To stay warm, I wore my versatile coat from Sarah Lai Label. Sarah Lai Label is a Hong Kong line known for elegant and modern women. I combined this coat with another pastel piece - my favorite Forever 21 dress, along with nude Nina shoes. (Hurry up, they are on sale!). To make my outfit a bit luxurious, I wore my new watch that I got from Shore Projects. I'm simply in love with their new collection!

A few days ago, I shared with you what I usually wear when we travel. I rely mostly on sneakers and jeans, but not too long ago, I bought new jumper overalls from Forever 21. You can't imagine how I'm crazy for overalls now! They are super comfortable, easy to style, cheap and save you time when looking stylish for travel. I have been looking at this jumper dress for a while and finally got it. I hope that it is not sold out yet in case you want one! A few weeks ago, we visited our town's very popular aquarium in Monterey Bay. Since we had lovely weather (not like today), I was able to enjoy wearing it just with a tee from Dynamite Clothing. For walking all day, I thought that my Missguided flat shoes looked perfect for this kind occasion.
Hello, my dear! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and families and took advantage of the big sales on Black Friday. Today, I want to share with you another old photo shoot that I had no time to share before. I think we did when we just moved into our new apartment. Anyway, I never wore anything like this before - denim on denim. Mostly this is because I was never fond of denim, but moving to America made me love distressed boyfriend jeans. This is not only because they are super comfy. I like that they can create a badass look. Since I don't own a denim shirt, I thought that my denim mini-dress can work pretty well as a shirt. I think it honors the denim-on-denim trend nicely. To complete my outfit, I wore my C/Meo Sandals that you can get at Fashion Bunker. Hurry up since they have a big sale!
Happy Thanksgiving, my sweeties! I would love to thank all of my readers and followers for staying and returning back to my blog and social media. I would love to thank my husband and family for supporting what I love! I am thankful for living in a beautiful part of the world and being able to create even more magical content. I'm thankful to be healthy, happy, beautiful and inspired!
This post I created a few weeks ago and didn't have time to share with you guys. We are about to leave for another road trip to celebrate Thanksgiving with our friends as I mentioned in my previous post. I thought that it would be great to give you some small tips for how to look good when you travel. I always wear something comfortable and walkable because we spend a lot of time in the car and then we walk around. Of course, I wear comfy jeans (7 For All Mankind via Fitcode) along with a tee (Black Duara) and Adidas sneakers. A warm Forever 21 sweater and scarf will keep me warm in case of weather changes. For accessories, I always choose statement pieces like Poupee de Papier Tote, Polette eyewear and pretty pearl earrings from Kristin Perry.

I love to feel comfortable, yet stylish. I know it might not work for your season, but it works for California weather! I would never have considered wearing a jumpsuit in November, but who knew that we would move to California and have a warm autumn?! Don't be jealous - just take some inspiration for what to wear next spring! When I wore my new jumpsuit from Lamoda101, I wanted to create a playful outfit. A double top knot hairstyle and my childish behavior remind me of a crazy Kazakh version of Miley Cirus. LOL. To complete my playful outfit, I wore my stylish turtleneck underneath, retro vintage sunglasses, a Melie Bianco purse and my favorite Lulu's boots. Btw, Happy Holidays guys!
I'm a big fan of long cardigans and dust coats. I wish that I could have them in many different palettes and patterns. Maybe one day! Haha ;). Let's hope, as dreams do come true. There are some reasons to love duster coats. First, the length of the coat adds elegance. Second, it make you/me look taller and slimmer(!). Third, it is perfect for a wide range of weather and daily fluctuation. Lastly, it is super practical and never goes out of style! I got my new dust coat from Lulu's. I love how soft it feels on my body and its simple chicness. I wore my Forever 21 jumper underneath that is also super comfortable! For fall boots, I thought that my cute Report Signature boots from Lulu's would complete my look and give me extra height. I put the cherry on top by adding my crystal necklace and a ring set from Kristin Perry.
Happy Monday, beauties! Thanksgiving is almost here! This year, we are going to see my husband's old buddies. My head is going a bit crazy thinking about what to get for Christmas for my family and and in-laws. You must know my pain! Hehe! It is so easy to get gifts for women, but men are always tough. I'm planning to do my shopping on Black Friday! I hope I will find some time, since we are traveling. Yesterday, we went to World Market and it was already super crazy, because people are getting for Christmas. Why so early? (brain explosion.. LOL) Anyway, today I want to share with you another pair of my high knee boots OOTD. Every time I wear my new Public Desire boots, I feel super sexy and feminine. To balance my height, I wore my new sweater dress from Lamoda101 that gives an edgy and casual vibe. For accessories, I picked my Lydell NYC necklace along with Kristin Perry earrings & Margaret Elizabeth gold cuff to promote a festive mood in case if you are still looking for inspo on what to wear for the holidays. To complete my look in a playful way, I chose my JumpFromPaper pouch. What are you planning to wear this Thanksgiving?
Hello, my sweeties! Everyone is slowly starting to make plans for the holidays. Some are getting ready for Thanksgiving and many are booking tickets for Christmas. I can't wait to fly home to my husband's parents. I love getting spoiled with lots of yummy food and awesome gifts! Our holiday dinner always turns into a big family celebration. To prepare for these upcoming festivities, I would like to show you some fashion possibilities for what you can wear!
Today is my first super classy look that is easy to style. I found a perfect vintage dress from an Etsy store. I love this online store because of all the creative minds, and having the ability to find something vintage and unique like this dress from the 70s! To keep me warm during the chilly evenings, you will need a cozy scarf or poncho (Mine from Dynamite). I prefer ponchos that have a nice print, like this one that comes in two colors. As for shoes, I think it is very important to about the kind of shoes you want to wear. Are planning to dance, to stand or walk around? I thought that these were perfect Via Spiga pumps that I got from Shoes.com to create not just a sophisticated outfit, but an image that is very elegant featuring 3 1/2 inch heels that will keep my feet from being in pain! I put all these pieces together and completed it with my new hair piece from Kristin Perry. To be honest, I felt like Cinderella going to the ball! Hehe, at least I have my prince already! Let me know by commenting below if you would wear these items for your holiday event.
Hi, beauties! I hope you are doing well. I want to thank all of my readers for their extreme love and for reading my blogging tips. I really hope they are helpful! If you want or need any other tips, please leave a comment below and I will share whatever I know from my experience!
I can't believe how the temperature dropped recently. It has led to me upgrading my wardrobe with new booties and outwear. I'm a big fan of warm/ hot weather, but layering can be fun too! I picked to wear one of my trench coats. I probably own only 4 trench coats, but this beige one is definitely a must-have! My new pair of chic Hardy boots from Shoes.com completes my casual outfit so perfectly. They are not just simply stylish, but also super comfortable! For a glamorous touch, I wore myLydell NYC necklace & Peach Box earrings. You can get 25% OFF by using special code "DIANA25" at Lydell NYC.
Hi, guys! I can't believe how fast time flies. The week is almost over! Today, I would like to share my five fashion must-haves you need this Fall. My first choice is cozy sweaters. How else can we stay warm in this chilly weather? You wouldn't believe it, but I have about 15 sweaters in different colors, but one color was still missing! That was burgundy! When I found this perfect turtleneck sweater at Lulu*s, I couldn't be happier! The second item that every girl must own is a pencil skirt! One of my friends told me "girl, pls bring the pencil skirt back to being trendy" and I thought she is so right! Modern ladies, I am missing so much by not wearing classic, elegant skirts! I chose mine from Lulu*s as well! The next item is many, many scarves ranging from different colors to different styles! Since I was going to keep my color combination in wine red, I thought that my Dynamite Clothing poncho could work as a scarf as well! The forth must-haves are accessories! Definitely check out Elizabeth Margaret & Peach Box for pretty jewels that will complete any of your outfits! The last one - loafers. I have been hunting for loafers for a while, but I'm short and was not sure if I really could wear them. After a month, I received a package from Korea with my new heeled loafers from WannabK. And you know, they are absolutely gorgeous! I love their modern and unique look. I'm pretty sure I'll be the one in my town with the coolest loafers!
Hi, hi, hi! You remember I told you that I asked my husband to give me a birthday present of over knee boots from Nasty Gal? Sadly, they turned out to be big on me and I sent them back. After doing a lot of research, I finally found a perfect pair! I knew right away how I wanted to style my new over knee boots from Public Desire. Since we are getting into chilly weather, I thought it was time for turtleneck dresses! I'm wearing my new turtleneck dress from SheIn that is not just super cheap, but also has a unique design featuring big pockets! I was worrying a little bit that it will not go well with a gray dress, but it ended up working great! I hope it gives inspiration for how to style your high boots this Fall. Simple, but chic!
Happy Monday, babies! I hope you read my previous post about managing a photoshoot in the event of bad weather. I hope it was helpful! Today, I want to show you another cute outfit that was inspired by Korean style. Last week, I got my new jumpsuit from my favorite Korean brand Lucky Chouette. I just can't describe how much I love their brand. It's the same jumpsuit (they have in black too) you can get at Wannab K store that ships worldwide. I chose a burgundy color that looks perfect with fall weather.
We found a super cute place to shoot this outfit in our neighborhood. We have seen a lot of wedding photographers take pics here and we thought that we should try it too. I'm so happy how the pictures turned out. I wore my WannabK jumpsuit along with Ann Taylor silk blouse and my new bracelets that I got from Margaret Elizabeth & The Peach Box (Btw, you can get 15% off by using "DIFFERENTCANDS" code at Peach Box). I hope you enjoy our creative photos.
Happy Sunday, guys! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Last night, it was raining and I slept pretty bad. I hope I will get better rest tonight. Anyway, one of my blogger friends asked me how to manage photo shoots if the weather is not what you expected. I decided to give a few tips in case you have the same problem. Since we moved to California, I haven't had any real challenges, even when it rained. I understand that it can be hard to manage a photoshoot, especially if you have a photographer who is not your husband/ boyfriend or one of your family members. Of course, many photographers don't want to get their "baby camera" to get wet. Here is a tip for how to avoid it!
First, if it happens to rain, think about adapting to a new location! Examples can be parking garages with deck, a botanical garden, indoors at your house (if you have a nice lighting or pretty furniture, why not?!), museum (make sure that you are aloud to take pics inside), or some other lovely public building. Second, packing is critical. A photographer and a model can rethink any concept to create beautiful rain pictures. Just take an umbrella, find a spot where the photographer stays under the protection of ceiling, and you (the blogger, model) strut under rain. Third, after the rain is a perfect time to go to a coffee shop and get your favorite brew or hot chocolate, which you can then turn into shooting area. I hope all of these tips can help for the next inclement weather photo shoot. Stay positive and adapt - I promise you can overcome any challenge! I wear a denim dress from Style Moi along with silk scarf from VèVèlle and Alysia boots.
Hey, beauties! While the sun still shines, I thought that I should take advantage of wearing sneakers. Each passing day gets chillier in our part of California. To be honest, I had a different image of living in here. I thought that palm trees grew on every corner and the sun shines throughout the year. Haha. Maybe in Southern California! Anyway, we have been making our plans for future trips and I'm so excited about them. I feel like the more you travel, the more you get addicted to it. I'm such a lucky girl, because I found a man who loves traveling and takes any chance possible to make a trip! Last week, I got a package from Jump from Paper. It was my cartoon shoulder bag from AW15 collection that I styled today. After watching their lookbook, I thought to create another fun outfit for "COOL kids" (like in the song of Echosmith). Messy hair and cute glasses, along with a striped dress and blazer captures a student look. Of course, my Jump from Paper shoulder bag gives a strong sign of youth. To complete this outfit, I chose my fun Korean sneakers from WannabK and a Swarovski-crystal studded watch from Timex.
Happy Monday, guys! It was quite a busy day, and I'm finally writing a new blog post! Last night, I was amazed at how many people replied to my post on Instagram about sharing their experiences for how to manage blogging life. When people read my captions, it makes me even more inspired! Today was a rainy day in the Monterey Bay area. I guess it was the first time I was not depressed because of gray weather. Of course, I prefer sun for the whole year, but sometimes, we need a small break with clouds and rain. Since it got a bit chillier, I thought it was time to start wearing leather jackets and turtlenecks, and booties. My readers seems to enjoy how my style has been influenced by Americans. This outfit exudes more street style vibe. I'm wearing an oldy leather jacket from Forever 21 along with a crop turtleneck and H&M jeans. Haha, my husband got tired of all my distressed jeans and bought me a pair without holes. He is such a sweetheart! Also, my watch obsession is taking off again. I bought a new watch from Timex for myself that cost only $56. I actually wanted a watch that was practical and versatile. To complete my outfit, I chose my new Jason Wu sunglasses from Ditto and a super nice satchel that I got from Violet Ray. I love their affordable bags! Btw, you can get your first free month of getting designer eyewear from Ditto by using the "DIFFERENTCANDS" code. Good luck with finding the perfect one!
Hi, guys! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I didn't do anything special this weekend, because we are now in our school routine. LOL. Why "our?" Because when my hubby is a student, I feel like a mother taking care of my child. HAHA. I am pretty sure that any woman who is married will understand me. Some of you have been asking me how do I manage my blogging routine.
Here are a few tips I would like to share from my experience:
1. I plan what I will wear in advance. It can range from week or just few hours ahead of time for what should I wear. I put all my outfits together, try them on, and look if I should change or add something.
2. I shoot all my outfits in one day! Yes, it is crazy, but my husband and I prefer to shoot for a couple of hours, so that way, I don't need to bother him during the work days.
3. I write 1-2 posts to have as back-up. In case if I don't have time to write, I have an extra post in my back pocket!
4. I always look through all of my pictures on my phone and carefully consider what comes next. That means, all my pictures have a schedule.
5. I try to use any free time for social media. If I'm on the beach, if I watch TV with my hubby, even if I cook or before sleep - it's all fair game. I feel like I'm always with my phone. Sometimes, I get tired and I take a break by reading books. I find it is unhealthy to be online all the time!
Happy Friday! A few days ago, I was thinking about my blogging life. Maybe it's because so many people have been asking for my help on how to start a fashion blog and what I had to do to get where I am today.
This gave me reason to write this blog post. Firstly, I never thought that I would be a fashion/style blogger. I would like to share a small story behind my blogging. Some of you probably heard that I used to live in Germany. It is a special place in my heart, not because I love everything about Germany and it was my dream from childhood, but also because I met my forever-love there. He is the main reason why I started a blog. After graduation, I moved to South Korea, where my husband used to work. I had been thinking about blogging, but I was so scared to start. I didn't know what to start or how to even go about anything. I started to do a lot of research, but research wasn't very helpful since my English was not strong enough for me to understand. I spent hours and hours on Youtube and Google trying to figure things out. Some bloggers advised me to not start because it is too complicated, it takes a lot of time, etc. Believe me, after this advice, I was scared even more. At this point, my husband said you should stop thinking, just start, and we'll see what happens. It was the best advice. Today, blogging is my job. I enjoy it on so many levels and I'm happy to be constantly learning and evolving. I love sharing my style with my readers, I love studying my body, my best angles, and everything else about this world. On this day, I want to give some small advice to my readers: Don't be afraid of anything you want to achieve in your life. If you are still not sure about yourself, talk to your loved one or your parents / close friends and see if they support your idea. If it seems that nobody is there to support you, believe me, there are people who do! If you guys have any tips or helpful insight, please make sure to comment below, and I will give another advice-piece in my next post!

Hey, guys! I'm so sorry that it took me forever but here is my #ootd from Philadelphia. OMG, it has been almost two months. Anyway, now it's good timing to show you one of my styles with a poncho. It is the first time in my life when I got a poncho. Crazy, right?! I never thought how versatile this piece could be. I got mine from Dynamite. It's sad that they're sold out, but this means that this kind was popular! Anyway I have another one, and plan to style it soon. When we were in Philly, it was a crazy walk, because I didn't predict we would walk the whole old city in a day. Oh, I forgot that I'm married to my husband. Haha. You can never wear heeled shoes if you travel with him. Haha. At least I looked hot in my distressed jeans and super cozy poncho even it was about 80F. LOL. You will ask me, why did I wear layers, if it was hot? I would answer, because we were shooting for Dynamite Clothing! You can find my article on their blog >>>here.
Hello, babies! Did anybody stay in line to buy anything from Balmain x H&M collaboration? I have been watching many videos on Instagram about how people slept next to the store and how crazy this event was. People were even fighting over clothes. Insane, right?! Also, social media has a lot of jokes about this madness. You can find it under #hmbalmaination .
I would love to thank all my followers for saying happy birthday to me. I didn't celebrate my birthday for ages to be honest, because I live far away from my family and all my of best friends are far away. Plus, moving every year makes it complicated to build good friendships in new places. Anyway, I'm happy that my family was able to call me and all of your warm congratulation are the best gift for me. My husband made the best gift of giving me a huge sushi cake, flowers, and a pair of boots that you will see later. Today, I decided to wear something that I never did before. A tone of gray hue flooded my wardrobe finally. Gray is a must-have every Fall/Winter season for me, but I never risked wearing it all together. I finally found a wonderful combination this time. I'm wearing a long coat (that I turned into a dress) along with striped gray blazer from Chicwish. To complete my grayish outfit, I picked a Poupée de Papier tote bag along with gray sandals from Zara.
Hello, babies! Finally, my special day is here! I don't know if you get excited about your birthday, but I am! I love getting gifts from my husband! Usually, I ask my husband for some tech things, like a lens for a camera or phone, but this year, I have been craving for new over-knee boots. I can't wait to get this package! Fingers crossed that they will fit me!
The last few days, I got many cute packages. It seems like everyone knew that it is my birthday ;) Anyway, for this special occasion, I decided to wear a romantic outfit. It was not ideal to wear bright colors with the white background. It took me a lot of time to edit them. Anyway, I'm wearing a classic shirt from Forever 21 with vintage midi skirt that I got from Etsy. I thought to create a look with a French touch with a new silk scarf from VèVèlle. And of course, I couldn't leave the house without my new bucket bag from Poupée de Papier. I'm so in love with their new collection!
A couple of days ago, I went downtown to meet up with a friend. It was the first time I walked by myself in our new town. I totally love our location of being so close to all the cool stuff Monterey has to offer. Because I can't drive, I have so much appreciation for living in the city and being able to walk around. To be honest, I really don't understand why America doesn't have a legit public transportation system like many other countries in Europe in Asia. I can't wait for when we can move back and I can enjoy my small train trips to see friends and discover new places.
Last week, I mentioned my new booties from Alysia. It is an online shop where you can customize your shoes. This time, I wanted to create something classic and different. I wore my Akira turtleneck along with a gray striped blazer. I like a combination of monochrome colors. To not overwhelm my outfit with grey colors, I decided to wear lilac pants instead of black or gray. It gave a nice touch of playfulness.
Hello, my dears! I'm so excited for November because it is my birthday month and my favorite nephew turns 3 years old too! It's so sad that I can't share this day in person with my family, but we chat on Skype almost every day, so they'll be able to give me their birthday wishes. Thank you technology!
In a couple of days, I will share what I am planning to wear for my birthday. I would love to know if anyone else has a birthday this month. Today, I'm wearing my new-in! Last week, I got so many packages and now I'm hurrying to share with you! I styled my new boyfriend Chicwish shirt with Style Moi jeans. I was worrying that they will not fit me, but I guess walking up our hill after dinner helps! Also, if you saw my snapchat, I got new purses from Poupée de Papier. This week, I will definitely show more outfits with my new babies. For this outfit, I picked a grey tote that comes with a zipper pouch bag. I love how it looks with my pointed heels.
"Happy" Sunday! I can't really say it is all the way happy, because I have been feeling sick from last night. There was a Halloween party and we had a good time. I'm not a big drinker. When I indulge, I end up getting sick very easily. If you saw my Facebook, I shared my last minute outfit. I was a "zombie bride." We loaded up on tons of candy for tricks-or-treaters, but not one single neighborhood kid came to our door. How sad! Oh well, I had so much candy for myself, I took a basket with me. It was so fun to share candy to people throughout the night.
Today, I'm wearing a new MinkPink dress along with chunky boots and my new Deux Lux purse. I wanted to wear this dress with overknee boots, but I still don't own a pair. It is very hard to find the right knee boots for skinny legs like mine. If you know any stores for petite ladies that I should check out, please let me know!
