The joys of owning a trench coat

Living in Europe got a bit complicated for me. Chilly nights and rainy days forced me to change my wardrobe completely. I bought things I rarely or never wore before like trench coats and rains boots. The trench has been rocking throughout all fashion shows, magazines and street style. I couldn't help but remember its popularity as it rained like crazy these past few weeks. Even when we went to travel to Strasbourg, it started to rain like cats and dogs. It was during this trip, I was super happy to finally wear my red trench. It was the perfect choice for a rainy spring day. The red brought some happiness to offset the grey clouds. I now have another addition to my wardrobe favorites.

There are a few things that you can consider if you want to own a trench coat. If you find one with a classic design, you will love it forever. It will be a timeless piece. Don't forget about the color. I think classic black, beige or even black would work for any season and you can style it in a variety of ways.

Pick the right fabric and size, choose water-resistant fabrics for the fall or spring seasons, and lighter material for summer. I recently ordered a linen trench coat in beige and can't wait to have it, because I can enjoy my trench during chilly spring days. On the topic of design, I have seen so many different coats, and only a few have caught my attention. I found this Tuck in Trench by R13 to be quite unique, or if you are looking for a more economic choice, I would advise you to check Mango linen coat.
