If you already booked a trip for a summer destination, it's time to think about what to bring with you for traveling on your adventure. Whether you are going to spend time at the hotel-resort or somewhere in the city, your wardrobe is important. Since I almost travelled throughout the entire year, I finally "learned" how to pack smart. Well, kind of! To be honest, I still overpack my luggage and usually end up with over 20 kg (44 lbs) in my bag. When I see some people travel with only a carry-on bag, I feel super jealous. How the heck do they do it? But then, I remind myself that I am not only a travel blogger, but also a fashionista. As a fashion blogger, I always want to look stylish in order to get some cool pictures for my Instagram.
Let's look close at what should you pack:
1. Comfortable shoes:
I checked several stores to find some comfortable sandals and sneakers. I guess I am only one who doesn't really like flip-flops. I wear sneakers year-round and my favorite kicks are, of course, Adidas Original. I am also considering getting a pair from Converse. Sandals are another type of shoes that I might wear. First, they are easy to pack, and second, they don't weigh very much in your luggage. But since I blisters so easily, I have to buy sandals only from real leather. My favorite kind are from Summit White Mountain.
2. Swimming suits/ bikinis:
This is probably the hardest part for me. Since I have a peach-type body, my bottom half is bigger then the top. So I always have to find the right size. Last year, I got some swimming wear from Yandy. I also saw some cool bikinis from Mango and other shops. Sadly, I didn't get to try some cute swimming trunks from Zara, because in Tbilisi they don't sell them.
3. Summer Hats:
Who doesn't love summer accessories? Hats are great! Perfect for styling and protecting your head from overheating. The only part that I hate about hats is that they take up too much space in my luggage, or I find myself carrying them around all the time.
4. Light Dresses:
Summer is my favorite time of the year because I can wear pretty dresses. I love how they fit on me. My body can breath happily and comfortably. I prefer cotton fabric for hot summer days, but if it comes to traveling, I don't mind denim overall dresses or skirts.
5. Skin Care
When it comes to packing my bag, I try to pack as little as possible, but then the older I get, the more important it is to think about my skin. It needs to stay hydrated and clean. I always carry my Shiseido wrinkle kit and suncream.
